CHANGELOG 0.2.2.md — Notepad
Added
- A new
subsystems/ tree with subsystems/posix as the OS's first explicit
subsystem, separating kernel, userland and sdk under a single ownership.
Changed
- The POSIX syscall entry and dispatcher move under
subsystems/posix/kernel,
while kernel/ keeps the scheduler, base processes, VM, VFS, drivers and the
other generic mechanisms.
- The canonical SDK v1 moves to
subsystems/posix/sdk/v1; the main build,
tools/build-user.ps1 and the VS Code extension now consume that path as the
POSIX subsystem's public reference.
- The internal userland moves to
subsystems/posix/userland and builds against
the SDK's shared canonical runtime, removing internal duplicates and leaving
top-level sdk/ as the root for examples and ports.
- The public definition of the visible ABI is unified in
subsystems/posix/sdk/v1/include/savanxp/syscall.h, with no parallel copy in
include/shared.
- The system reports itself as
v0.2.2 in the kernel, the shell, uname,
sysinfo and the components consuming the shared version.
- The migration re-validates the persistent image flow:
.\sdk\doomgeneric\build.ps1 and .\build.ps1 build still keep
doomgeneric and doom1.wad in build/disk.img without recreating the image
under normal operation.
